There are several ways to reach the Amalfi Coast:
By Car – Driving along the coast is a scenic experience, with breathtaking views around every bend. Renting a car can be convenient for reaching the area independently, but once there, it’s highly recommended to park it and explore using alternative means: ferries, public transport, scooters, or simply walking are often the most comfortable (and charming) ways to move between towns, avoiding traffic and parking challenges.
By Train – The nearest major train stations are in Naples and Salerno. From there, you can continue by car, ferry, or private transfer.
By Plane – The closest airports are:
Naples Capodichino (NAP) – About 1.5 hours from the coast.
Salerno Costa d’Amalfi (QSR) – Closer, but with more limited flight options.
